The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is a federal agency that sponsors research focused on issues such as healthcare outcomes, quality of care, access to care, and cost/utilization. This research provides evidence-based information on healthcare outcomes; quality; and cost, use, and access. Information from AHRQ's research helps people make more informed decisions and improve the quality of healthcare services. AHRQ was formerly known as the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is a federal agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. CMS administers the Medicare and Medicaid programs—two national healthcare programs that benefit about 75 million Americans. Together with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), CMS runs the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), a program that is expected to cover many of the approximately 10 million uninsured children in the United States.

Florida Office of Insurance Regulation
The mission of the Florida Office of Insurance is to ensure that insurance companies licensed to do business in Florida are financially viable, operating within the laws and regulations governing the insurance industry, and offering insurance policy products at fair and adequate rates which do not unfairly discriminate against the buying public.

Health Resources and Services Administration
The Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) mission is to improve and expand access to quality health care for all. Its goal is to move toward 100% access to health care and 0 health disparities for all Americans. HRSA jointly administers the SCHIP program with CMS.

Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation
The Kaiser Family Foundation is a non-profit, private operating foundation focusing on the major healthcare issues in the United States. Kaiser develops and runs its own research and communications programs, sometimes in partnership with other non-profit research organizations or major media companies. The mission of the Kaiser Family Foundation is to provide timely, reliable, and non-partisan information on national health issues to policymakers, the media, and the general public.

The Florida Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA) is a special staff unit of the Legislature created by state law under the oversight of the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee. OPPAGA examines agencies and programs to improve services and cut costs when directed by state law, the presiding officers, or the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee. OPPAGA supports the Florida Legislature by providing evaluative research and objective analyses to promote government accountability and the efficient and effective use of public resources.
